Front Page Magazine has a great article outlining the organizing behind the Vote for Change tour.

Democrats Vote to Reinstate the Draft

In a resounding slam to those in the Moveon.org propoganda camp, the house forced a vote on the bill introduced by Democrats to reinstate the draft. Only two people voted for it...and guess what? They were both Democrats. Read more at Alpha Patriot.

Alexander the GREAT!

Please! Keep the scenes in there! WOOF!

Is “Alexander” too gay?

The opening date of the Oliver Stone epic about the Macedonian conqueror has been pushed back from Nov. 5 to Nov. 24, and an insider says one reason for the delay is that execs at the studio want to cut some of the film’s male-on-male love scenes.

“Alexander was almost certainly bisexual [I BEG TO DIFFER! HE WAS 100% QUEER!], and [director] Oliver Stone wanted to portray that," says the source. "So there are scenes between Colin [Farrell, who plays Alexander] and women, but there’s also some passionate scenes between Colin and Francisco Bosch.”

Bosch plays Bagoas, a Persian eunuch, who many historians believe was Alexander’s lover.

Right Wing News has a round-up of the best Ann Coulter quotes of the last year (thanks, Pat). These are my fav'rite:

"The Swift Boat Veterans provide detailed accounts from dozens and dozens of eyewitnesses to Kerry's Uriah Heep-like behavior – which "Unfit for Command" contrasts with Kerry's boastful descriptions of the exact same incidents. By contrast, Kerry's supporters have their usual off-the-rack denunciations of any witness against a Democrat. The veterans are: liars, bigots, idiots, politically motivated, and I was never alone in a hotel with Paula Jones."

"Like Thomas Sowell's definition of a "racist" ("a conservative winning an argument with a liberal"), the definition of an "unpopular Republican" is "a Republican the Democrats would like to be rid of." Whenever liberals are being hysterical about a Republican, it's because that Republican is not good for the Democrats."

"In one of (John) Edwards' silver-tongued arguments to the jury on behalf of a girl born with cerebral palsy, he claimed he was channeling the unborn baby girl, Jennifer Campbell, who was speaking to the jurors through him...Is Edwards able to channel any children right before an abortionist's fork is plunged into their tiny skulls? Why can't he hear those babies saying, "Let me live! Stop spraying this saline solution all over me!" Edwards must experience interference in channeling the voices of babies about to be aborted. Their liberal mothers' hands seem to muffle those voices."

"While making himself fabulously rich by taking a one-third cut of his multimillion-dollar verdicts coaxed out of juries with junk science and maudlin performances, (John) Edwards has the audacity to claim, "I was more than just their lawyer; I cared about them. Their cause was my cause." If he cared so deeply, how about keeping just 10 percent of the multimillion-dollar jury awards, rather than a third? In fact, as long as these Democrats are so eager to raise the taxes of "the rich," how about a 90 percent tax on contingency fees?"

"America's greatest president has gone home. God worked through Ronald Reagan on Earth and now He's taken him back. Reagan is survived by his wife, three children, and the hundreds of millions of people he saved by winning the Cold War. Thanks to him, the United States of America never ceased to be, as Reagan said, "a place to escape to" – the last stand on Earth. No thanks to liberals, I might add."

God Bless Ann Coulter!

Cowgirl Blues

Blogging from Sealab 2021 at the bottom of the ocean, GOP & the City has this HILARIOUS post about an interview between John Kerry and Cowgirl Magazine here.

Hillary Clinton Fundraising Probe

Who would have thought?

WASHINGTON — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's 2000 Senate campaign is the subject of an ongoing probe into possible fund-raising violations, FOX News has learned.

Legal sources suggest that the New York Democratic senator is not expected to be subject of the probe. Instead, David Rosen, Clinton's chief fund-raiser, is subject of a criminal investigation and now in front of a grand jury, sources told FOX News.

According to the FBI, Rosen has been named by indicted businessman Peter Paul, who alleges the former first lady's campaign deliberately understated its fund-raising costs so it would have more money to spend on elections.

Paul, a three-time convicted felon currently facing stock fraud charges in New York, hosted a Hollywood fund-raising event for Sen. Clinton before her election in 2000. He asserts he underwrote most of the costs of the event. Prosecutors say Paul was looking for a pardon from President Clinton at the time.

A Universal Test

Maybe we need to send Jodi Foster through the Contact gate everytime we need to resolve a national crisis...so says Powerline with Kerry's Extra-terrestrial test:
[I]f they were honest enough to give America the full quote, which America heard, they would know that I'm never going to allow America's security to be outsourced. That's the job of the president.

But I can do a better job of protecting America's security because the test that I was talking about was a test of legitimacy, not just in the globe, but elsewhere.

Daddy Warbucks!

Here is the ad I just saw on WaPo...

It should read:

Earned Billions hedging against success in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Promotes socialist-communism around the world.

Check out why he's banking the Kerry campaign.

Don't Count on It

I do not buy the screed that Republicans are out to supress the black vote; the RNC is trying to get the black vote out so they can vote Republican!

I believe the difficulties in this election will entail voter surge. I believe that the local municipalities in Florida sucked. This year, I believe many other municipalities across the country will be bursting at the seams--and all it takes is one woman who stands in line for an hour and then has to leave to pick up her kids for someone to shout, "DISENFRANCHISEMENT."

This is where I believe monitors might actually benefit the electoral process. They will notice the counties are not prepared for the voter surge, not that someone is intimidating anyone.

If Bush wins, and even if he wins big, I believe we will suffer a spat of domestic terrorism. You can see evidence of that here and here.

Almost Too Good To Believe!

Saddam Possessed WMD, Had Extensive Terror Ties

(CNSNews.com) - Iraqi intelligence documents, confiscated by U.S. forces and obtained by CNSNews.com, show numerous efforts by Saddam Hussein's regime to work with some of the world's most notorious terror organizations, including al Qaeda, to target Americans. They demonstrate that Saddam's government possessed mustard gas and anthrax, both considered weapons of mass destruction, in the summer of 2000, during the period in which United Nations weapons inspectors were not present in Iraq. And the papers show that Iraq trained dozens of terrorists inside its borders. Full Story

John F. Kerry: Cheater

I am just beside myself with this:

DBS News is up again for our third roundtable of opinions of this weeks events.
First, we have Kitty, who is feeling much better, over at Kitty Litter.

Next, Wild Bill socks it to Kerry over at Passionate America.

I take on the actual content of the debate here:

And Pat runs anchor this week with his excellent post over at Kerry Haters.

Third Rate Burglery

Breaking into campaign offices, while made famous by Richard Nixon, is not new to the Kerry campaign. In 1972, Kerry's brother burgled Kerry's opponent's office during Kerry's bid for Congress.

Again, in Bellevue, WA, the democrats prove their criminality again by robbing the republican party headquarters there.
